Cecilia Ahlqvist is an artist and educator with a focus on contemporary art. She is process-oriented in both her art and pedagogy and works with encounters between art and children both in schools and museums. She has been working with Vision Forum and MKP since 2024 and produced a large number of installations, performances as well as interventions in public and natural spaces including “Winter Forest” and “Proof.” She has also been assisting in the project, “Do Trees Dream of CO2.”
About her work with the Vision Forum project MKP, she says:
“There is a great need for new ideas and methods in learning, but also for artists to become better at reaching their audiences. We are actively working to be part of a movement to find solutions to these difficulties. With this goal, we develop strategies to function as a bridge between artists, educators and researchers.”
