Research into the Life and work of Ivan Aguéli
We at Vision Forum will continue our research into the Life and work of the Swedish artist and mystic Ivan Aguéli. On Saturday October 17, we will undertake research with the Egyptian artist Mina Nasr at the Aguéli Museum in Sala in Sweden. On October 20, we will organise a public talk at AllArtNow in Stockholm in dialogue with Swedish-Syrian curaor Abir Boukhari. The talk will start at 16.00 and we will focus on that Aguéli searched for truth through introspection. In this informal presentation, we will take Aguéli as a starting point to reflect on whether introspection is a universal human trait and whether it can serve as a foundation for cross-cultural dialogue. In other words, do we all sometimes look inward, and can what we find help us engage in dialogues across cultural boundaries?
