xLEPH is a project that sets out to create and develop hardware and software platforms for contemporary music and performance. Vision Forum has been developing such platforms for over a decade. xLEPH works to strengthen the aesthetic and artistic potential of existing technology further. The goal is to develop technology that can be used by performers to create inspiring new music that is enhanced by strong visuals. The developed technology will consist of over the counter components, as well as custom created software solutions.
xLEPH is an open musical research platform that has been active since 2019. They have performed in many European countries including France and Sweden as well as in the Middle East. Their music has been aired on national and alternative radio in multiple European countries including P2′s “Elektroniskt” (Sweden) and P-Node in Paris. They have experimented with language, hypnosis, biofeedback using their own software platforms.
xLEPH is currently supported by Kulturbryggan. The project is developed together with our sister organisation Curatorial Mutiny.
