Times and Venues for Non-Human Perspectives

Artist Per Huttner and choreographer Carima Neusser will organise three one-day workshops in Brazil, Mexico and California from December 2017 to March 2018. For each workshop they invite a neuroscientist, an anthropologist, a choreographer and a visual artist to present their practice. Each workshop will have a theme that is based on shared interests of the participators in that city. The four workshops are held together by a desire to understand how our human bodies dictate our perception of the world and how our humanness is shaped by the culture that we grow up in. They will investigate how knowledge in art, anthropology and neuroscience in dialogue can offer altered perspectives on our everyday day lives and how each discipline can learn from the other.
