Welcome to MKP autumn meeting
Vision Forum’s educational project for the younger students, Tomorrow’s Art Audience, organises its first seminar in Norrköping November 24 – 26, 2015. The meeting focuses on how education in contemporary visual art can become more dynamic and how it can connect to other disciplines. Events will take place at Linköping University, Norrköpings konstmuseum, Verkstad and in public places. The project is supported by the Region of Östergötland.
Program:
November 25th
- Events in public spaces with artist and pedagogue Cecilia Ahlqvist along with dancer Carima Neusser.
- Anne Klontz carries out workshop with school children around Liv Strand’s exhibition at Verkstad.
- Programs for artists, educators and scientists at Harlekinen, Norrköping konstmuseum: Eva Cronqvist – Researcher at the University of Gothenburg and Matilda Bengtsson on her educational work on Flygvapenmuseum.
- Evening activities at Verkstad performances by artists from Athens – Andreas Pashias and an artist TBA. Tomas Nordmark improvises using the Brain Synth.
November 26th
- Programs for artists, educators and scientists at KSM, Campus Norrköping:
- Maker’s Workshop on 3D design and programming for children; Dance consultant DIS on the body’s role in learning.
- Art Educator Anne Klontz works with a group of schoolchildren at Verkstad
- Concluding discussions and departure.
